Synopsis

A work inspired by the music of the pedestrian crossings in downtown Auckland. The chirpy noise of the crossing signal is used as the sonic backdrop in which two New Zealand native birds cohabitate. The mixture is a starched splice of robot sounds from the urban jungle with a piwakawaka and keruru appearing rather static.
